3Ds Max - Fixing Linked Shapes/Objects (Even if they've been rescaled.)

Step 1: Download Zip Folder and Extract into 3dsmax folder
Step 2: Select Customize - Customize User Interface
Step 3: Select the Quads tab (or actually Keyboard) Go to Category drop down menu and select "objectReplacerUI"
Step 4: Identify Broken Helper/Shape that has been linked.
Step 5: Create a new shape without resizing it afterwards.
Step 6: Right click the already linked node and select objectReplacerUi
Step 7: Pick the object (your newly created shape) to replace with
Step 8: Uncheck ROTATION and SCALE.

Leave everything else the way it is and select Apply or Do.

Your new shape will be placed in place of your old broken shape/helper without disrupting the flow of your hierarchy.
